Featuring a variety of multimedia functions and a 14.4 cm touchscreen display, it can provide a range of information to customers quickly and easily, for example product prices. Thanks to its two integrated high-grade loudspeakers, the RP-05 can output exceptionally sharp sound.

Its multi-media functions, such as audio-visual output including video playback, allow it to be used as a versatile information terminal, providing customers not only with the classic price query function, but also giving them easy access to additional product information on an article.

The RP-05 multifunction information terminal combines the best features of a compact kiosk system with those of a classic price checker. With variety of multimedia functions and a 14.4 cm touchscreen display, the RP-05 terminal presents information to customers quickly and easily. Additionally, the RP-05 is equipped with a 2-D image scan module, which recognizes and decodes barcodes from mobile phone displays and can adapt to different installation environments. The multifunction information terminal with its 400MHz RISC processor supports multimedia functions such as pictures, audio and video playback using a high-grade loud speaker under Linux 2.6 or WinCE. The integrated web browser allows remote admin access via Ethernet, Wi-Fi or Power over Ethernet. The control of an entry/exit gate is possible with an optional expansion module. Additional interfaces such as USB, RS232 and SD card perfect the scope of operation of the multifunctional information terminal RP-05.

With its wide range of functions, the RP-05 is ideal for use in a variety of applications including retail stores, video rental outlets, duty-free shops, libraries and lottery agencies.
